小学全科教师助教AssistantTeacher苏州工业园区海归人才子女学校苏州工业园区海归人才子女学校,海归SUMMARY

ThecoreresponsibilityoftheAssistantTeacheristoworkcloselywiththeCoreTeacherstosupportinthesmoothandeffectiverunningoftheclass.TheAssistantTeacherreportstotheCoreTeachersandliaiseswiththePrimarySchoolFaculty,PYPcoordinator,VP-Academics&StudentLifeandHeadofSchool.

ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

1.Assiststheteacherwithregularlessonsandactivitiesusingdifferentcollaborativemodels

2.AssistsinplanningwhenrequiredtobytheCoreTeacher.

3.Supervisesorleadssmall-groupactivities.

4.Assistsindividualstudentsasneeded(English/Chineselanguagesupport,etc)

5.Takesandcollectschildrenfromspecialistlessons.

6.Administersbasicfirstaidorbringschildrentotheclinicformedicalattention.

7.Performsplaygroundsupervisionaccordingtotheweeklyschedule.

8.Supervisestheclasswhenteacherisnotintheroom

9.Supervisesstudentsoff-siteonschooltripsandotherexternalvisits.

10.Translatesforparentsconferencesasneeded.

11.Checksstudentworkthatisassignedbytheteacher.

12.Preparesvariousteachingaids(e.g.organizecenters,posters,educationalgames,etc).

13.Assistsinthemaintenanceoftheclassroomorganization(e.g.tidying,filing,etc).

14.Preparesandpresentsdisplaysofstudents'work.

15.Helpsmaintainanuptodateinventoryofclassroommaterials.

16.Leadsorhelpsorganizeco-curriculumactivities.

9.Communicateseffectivelywithsensitivity.

10.Buildsandmaintainssuccessfulrelationshipswithstudents,treatingthemconsistently,withrespectandconsiderationandbeingconcernedfortheirdevelopmentaslearners.

11.Providesconstructivefeedbacktothestudentandteacher(bothverbalandwritten).

12.Maintainsconfidentiality.

13.Continuallyseekstoimproveownpractice,includingparticipatinginprofessionaldevelopmentprovidedbytheSchool/IBOandthroughdailyobservation,examinationanddiscussionwithcolleagues.

14.Isproactiveandtakesinitiative.

15.Seeksadviceorguidanceasnecessary.

16.DemonstratesappropriateITliteracyskills(e.g.MSOffice,scanning,photoediting).
