Thepositionrequirestheabilityofworkinginaninterdisciplinaryteam,withco-designedexperimentalandsimulationsfocus,incollaborationbetweenAcademicsandIndustry.ThecandidatemusthaveaPhDdegreeineitherComputationalMechanicalScience,ComputationalMechanics,orcloselyrelatedfields.Weareparticularlyinterestedinapersonwhoisinterestedintechnologycommercialization,havegoodwrittenandspokenEnglishskills,strongbackgroundinsoftwaredevelopment,nonlinearfiniteelementmethods,parallelcomputing,andadditivemanufacturingprocess.
